Background
As a computer professional I'm also interested in astronomical research. My personal laptop runs almost the whole day, so I decided to use it for boinc projects in the field of astronomy.
Opinion
Most appealing is the fact, that my computer can be used to FIND something unknown in space! That's why I'm more interested in announcements on scientific results rather than getting credits. Go ahead, find some gravitational waves and pulsars, and let us know!
