I'm a mathematician, with current research interests in time series, machine learning, scaling processes, computational statistics.
I'm also fond of C++ programming, piano playing, alpine skiing, cross country skiing, photography, and golf.
Opinion
I started to be interested in this astrophysics/astronomy at the end of the seventies, after reading Hubert Reeves' books. I have been amazed by the Hubble telescope achievements and the recent progresses in this field. I consider the confirmation of the existence of the gravitational waves as a milestone in the history of astronomy.
