Annie: After finishing

Annie: After finishing listening to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Tertiary Phase again a couple days ago, I read just a teeny bit about cricket. Nothing that would disturb my delicate psyche or anything, but just enough to make a modicum of sense of the show.

Also, having not had time to research any more Christmas Monday births, I'll just toss out my last emergency backup already-rejected-for-not-meeting-other-requirements name, Antun Sorkocevic. He was born on the same day as Reesor and Fitzgerald.

Bill: I'm not worried about it.

Scott: I hear ya, man.

David, it's springtime in the

David, it's springtime in the UK and thus the thoughts of Brits turn to .... cricket. What other game would have a field position with the title 'silly mid-off' ? Here is the full horror :

Yes, I know they invented the game so they may use what labels they please. But from an Australian's point of view that still does not explain why they are such crap players ..... ->-> runs for deep extra cover .... :-) -)

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal

Come Onnn David come on ! It's time to "pull out all the stops ! "

Here are some suggestions to insure victory .....

1. Redirect some of that RAC from SETI over to here.

2. Connect a few more Android devices or anything you have laying around.

3. Borrow Scott's 486 DX-2 (which he still has in his closet.)
(Better yet, hack into Scott's account and siphon some of his RAC )

4. Dust off that credit card and purchase a couple of nvidia Titan - Z's.

5. Contact NEZ over at Seti (remember him ? ) He can provide you with information on how to covertly
install Boinc on computers at your school :-)

Better yet - contact this person - who seems quite knowledgeable .

If anyone needs me I will be mooing... in cow corner... though quite how without a head to do it through, I'd like you to think long and hard about because I'd rather not... *lead off with backward square leg... and travel in several interestingly alarming directions at once*

Yes, well, as this appears to be long stop and until I get where I'm going, I'll say this. This. There you go :) and while I'm at it, this too...there may be a few too many letter "e"'s lying about the place. I won't say how many because I don't know myself yet, and whilst I have no idea how it happened *flutter eyelids innocently against monitor* it might frustrate you quite a lot once you know about it :)))
They thought that by popping in for tiffin on whole tracts of land and sticking their flag in them, that the inhabitants, both past, present and future would have the good manners to respect any sticks they subsequently stuck in them too... And any rituals they performed in front of them. Those that realised just how depraved the concept behind the game was and is, did, by not playing it as soon as they could. Others... *point eyes pointedly at Mike* did not. They got good at it :) You had your opportunity, you blew it, and instead whitter on about whether you should give up the Queen... when you could have not had both *blink sadly at what might have been* Considering too, that the commonwealth nee empire might never have come about if France had just agreed to play one match... an omission for which they might never be forgiven by those that felt slighted and their descendants, and by those left to continually endure the covers coming off... it would be a very different world on which to spin through space on, I think you'll agree... *smile sweetly at everyone until they do*

Converting from my continental outlook (an upsidey-down orientated one as well – although perhaps a little more outy sidewaysy than some in this thread) and reassuming my British heritadiginous roots – we are a small Island people Mike :) To avoid floating off and ending up part of a continent – most of us have to spend large parts of every day holding onto the sides of the wet stuff that surrounds us, and kicking vigorously. I believe I may have mentioned it before. It's a huge responsibility and it doesn't give us much time to get good at cricket, or any other sport we've exported around the world :) We also have to avoid being run over... you know... when people are mucking about with saving their days as you so succinctly pointed out when you mentioned how you came to lose Tasmania. *specially slow blink* I'm assuming you had help...? :)

Now... where was I intending to start? Oh yes...

Hello everyone! :) *oil neck* *tilt head to anniet-angle (condition: charm offensive) and dislodge fluff straight into coffee* There you go! How to make an emergency raft for abluting insects. *engage low laryngeal gear* You're very very welcome! :)

How are you all anyway?! *glance round thread* I do hope you're well :)

Waves? *peer suspiciously around thread* Where? What kind? Airy, groundy or watery? It could be important :) you know... to coastal kicking manoeuvres and stuff...

Oh yes, well I do usually, but I faffed with a setting and suffered a big dump, not my usual dainty portion *bewildered frown* and it looks like I'll be chewing through the consequences for awhile yet. As soon as I have, I will be downloading more einstein units :) Promise!

An emergency backup guess, David? How YAY!! :) Just as well it's not a parachute then isn't it... yes... which in this instance means no *prepare dark stare in case of challenges* ...but nice try nevertheless :)

Okay :) *revolve head to condition: offensive charm... and smile*

Continuing with our theme -

as summarised below...

*beam biggest smile EVER beamed by an anniet*

... be afraid. Be very afraid.

... and again above...

*whilst einsteinians realise where they went wrong, try out new range of sighs*

...and given that I've been swamped, ever since posting this...

*wise frown* <- instructions available via PM

...giving me a new and up close perspective on why you may all have problems with flat-packed furniture... my anniet-notastatistictobeseen data has been held up somewhat. To tide us over this somewhat dry spell in clues... or *elevate nose to level of loft in order to put it another way entirely, chin first*... your abject cluelessness - I will be opening up the floor to a mini question and answer session :) You may ask anything you like people, anything at all, and I may answer it :)

Oh... Avoid the hole in the floor if you can... :)

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

It was NOT a DX-2!!! I NEVER had a DX-2!!! My first REAL computer was a 486 DX4-100, (3x 33 for 99 real MHz), and was FULLY loaded to the tune of $5000 in 1994. :-p Yes, still have it; but, in storage. (Played 7th Guest for hours and days on that machine.)

My RAC is falling here... I don't think he'd want to siphon anything from me.

The TARDIS is "Hack" proof... (Well, to humans anyway.) :-P

Goodnight everyone. :-)
