I've not seen the simple view

I've not seen the simple view for years, but just switched to it to see what it was like, and it prompted a question.  The "remaining" bar is animated and the box above that changes periodicaly, I presume this actualy uses some GPU resources that might otherwise have been available for crunching and the lower box is showing me a project and has an "Add Project" label, a project which is already on the machine. A little odd.

How do you use the BOINC

How do you use the BOINC screensaver in a separate graphics window so you can manipulate and explore it?

The Boinc screensaver can't

The Boinc screensaver can't be opened and manipulated but a project graphics can and that is what's shown by the Boinc screensaver.

Open Boinc Manager, if in simple view then select on of the running tasks at the top of the window and then click the Task Commands button and select Show graphics. If in advanced view then go to the Tasks tab and click on a running task then on the left click Show graphics.
If there isn't any graphics to show then the option/button will be grayed out.
