    The Einstein@Home Web site will be down for about 5-10 minutes on Wednesday 2018-10-10 while we reboot the server for a security patch. This will occur at 1400 UTC. That is 1600 CEST for most Europeans and 1000 EDT for east-coast North America. Volunteers do not need to do anything. The Web site and forums will not be available during this time period.

      Sorry about the down Web site everyone. When I went to reboot the Website server, by coincidence a power failure occurred at UWM’s remote data center, which took down various other services. Not E@H services, but the technical end-result was that I couldn’t log into the Web site computer to fix the problem! Thus the Web site, but not the project, was down for a few hours this morning (CDT). 

      Thus what was going to be a short-downtime turned into a much longer-one. Sorry about that!
