Congratulations and thanks to everyone who helped us achieve this cobblestone milestone! New members are always welcome so please join us so we can get to 2,000,000 even faster. Cheers, Rog.
yeah, good stuff. i need to get some more computers on board. where did you get all your computers? do you own them all?
> Hi Chase, glad to hear from you! You are a very reliable contributer to the Team and it sure helps. Yes, the boxes are ours. We have a small home network and I guess adding boxes has become a hobby. (I have a very understanding wife who is intrested in science and that helps). I usually buy 'puter components on sale (Tiger.ca online has good buys at times) and gut out older boxes we have when I have the pieces to upgrade. I am partial to AMD CPUs as they seem to give the best bang for the buck for BOINC type projects. I have a couple of 1.8Ghz Durons in the works so will see how they do. Anyway, I'm babbling too much so will wish you the very best in your studies at the UofA and hope you have a good summer! Cheers, Rog.
