Let the games begin.  U know the rules.

Down for 24 hours.  Good old Uverse dropped service in a wide area outage - no phone, internet, tv.  2nd time in two months.  someone must have backhoes through an underground feed - again.  Back now though.

actually not having tv was a blessing.  I long for the days of Walter Cronkite when election coverage ran from ~1830 to 1900.  After a couple months into this one begins to feel suicidal.

I agree non stop yacking by multiple people all saying the same thing in different ways AND on multiple channels too!! Fortunately the field is narrowing, unfortuantely so are the quality of the choices. We are down to one guy who told South Carolina "I'm running  to be a Senator for Congress" and the other one has been pitching the same stuff for 35 years!! And the other Party has a guy who said he "thinks" the CoronoaVirus is just like the flu and people should continue to go to work even if they are sick!!

But on to to brighter thoughts I am winning!!!

I can remember when the

I can remember when the TLPTPW threads had more participation.  Is interest in this "type" of thread waning?  What do you think?  I throw this question out to see who it "sticks to".

Just to throw an observation out there...I frequently review the new posts to the TLPTPW threads, but only occasionally add a new one.

But I'm still...

WINNING!!!!

Only for the moment.  You are not a true winner until "crowned" your majesty.

Now that's interesting. I wonder why? It is a sign of the times? What are the long-term implications? Is this phenomenon better addressed by social theory, political theory, economic theory, marketing theory, or theory of consciousness? What does it say about remaining participants? Should I be worried?

Ideas are not fixed, nor should they be; we live in model-dependent reality.

I'm thinking social theory...too many of the same people winning and the games taking too long in this day of 'now'.

ps I have a friend over at Collatz running the game and he is ready to drop it on the next person that posts, I'm letting his suffer awhile.
