Welcome! Copy, paste, then post the messages to the forum. They probably contain codes which will identify the problem.
Cheers. Mike

Certainly is. I'll start by examining the scheduler logs for you, here, and your last contact, to see what if any contact you may have made at around those times. It's 'around' because, like most of us, you may not have closely synchronised time on your host. I gather you're in Eastern USA, as you're identified at being at UTC-18000 ( seconds ) ie. at UTC -5 hours. The times on the messages that you've posted are in your local time.
Cheers, Mike.

Haven't found you yet, either you're not there, or your host time is wayout.
Go to the bottom right of your screen, the 'system tray area' and double click the time display. This should bring up 'Date and Time Properties' ( alternatively Start-> Control Panel -> Date And Time ). Select the 'Internet Time' tab then check/tick the box 'Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server', pick one out of the 'server' drop down ( 'time.nist.gov' is my preference ). Note and record your current time before you click the 'Update Now' button, so that you can tell me what difference if any occurs when it is adjusted. Hit the 'Update Now' button.
Secondly, have you any protection software? Does your ISP provide any protection at their site?
Cheers, Mike

im not so sure about the time

Message 25726 in response to message 25725

im not so sure about the time thing. my clock is always synchronized with the internet because most of the time im on wireless, and it can automatically sync anytime. as far as the problem with my internet connection, im not sure about my isp, if they are somehow blocking me, but i know that i have norton internet security, and i have tried disabling it and it still doesnt work. "when you said Haven't found you yet, either you're not there, or your host time is wayout", what did you mean by your not there. is there something additional to do to register something?

Mike, sorry I have to remind you that uploads are not visible in the scheduler logs. (pointer)

Doh! I remember that one now. Heck don't apologise, remind away!
So that implies that having an upload log would be a really good idea, though it is not as synchronous. Hmmmm.... I've actually been tooling over the idea for a while of some searchable facility there. Currently I have Offline Explorer Pro ( by MetaProducts Corporation ) doing a mirror on the scheduler logs, and then I use Search & Replace for Windows ( by Funduc Software ) to locate a search string across the files. This is similiar to a UNIX Grep for those of appropriate vintage.

jeff,
No you don't have to do anything else.
A few months ago a log was put online which displayed scheduler ( roughly the process that hands out the work ) activity. Thus those with problems in that department, and a reasonably synchronised clock ( as the log is indexed by UTC ) could peruse to see what, if any, response there was from E@H's schedulers. As Michael Karlinksy pointed out, my search was in vain because the uploads are done quite independently. I will now remember that. :D
My question about protection was goaded by a very long winded, but instructive, effort earlier on.
So back to your problem, I've been perusing your results. These are publicly accessible through your account ( clicking your name to the left of your post ) which has a link to 'View' computers and thence by clicking under the 'Results' heading for Computer ID 564086 ( your machine ). Everything is numbered: you, your computer(s), results, work units, threads, posts ...... I note that you have the ( dreaded ? ) 0xc0000005 Albert crash on this one , and two identical errors with this and this too.
Unless others have better suggestions, I'd go for an uninstall and then a re-install of BOINC. Don't go away, please keep in touch....
I've sticky'ed the Graphics driver thread too... any suggestions for other sticky's welcome.
Cheers, Mike.
