Nothing, but wait for the server to become available again. The availability of the servers have been low for the last several weeks. They are working to resolve the issues, but apparently aren't there yet. You may want to change your General Preferences to connect to the network every 3 days instead of 0.1 so that you can cache enough work to get through the periods of server outage. That won't help you now, though, until the server becomes available again, but keep it in mind in case the issues aren't resolved today.

News on the front page says a Kernel Panic crash happened unrelated to previous issues. They are getting things back online. Good to see the webpages back.

I have a WU that is due in a week, and it's ready to upload... the problem: I have to go out of town for 2 weeks, and if I leave now my finished WU will miss it's deadline?

What should I do? Should I wait for the server to come back online, or should I bail now and not worry about my 20 cpu hr WU missing it's deadline?

Leave your machine running temporarily until the result is uploaded and reported. Have a friend/relative check your machine and shut it down once this has happened, if you don't wish to leave the machine on for the duration. Also, set "No new work" so that you wont get further work which might expire while you are away.

Cheers,
Gary.
