Ta ... da !!! ( Drum roll .... )
A keyboard has been salvaged! :-)
Since the last Great Coke Disaster, my daughter Lizzy's 'Microsoft Internet Keyboard Pro' has undergone extensive rehabilitation. Luckily it was of the type that internally has those floppy plastic grids ( aligned ) with one overlying the other, that closely approximate at a junction when an overlying key is pressed. Fortunately it doesn't seem to rely on exposed/direct metal contacts, so I think the design uses capacitance changes to trigger switching.....
Anyhows it was a matter of disassemble/clean/reassemble. Not too fiddly. A new meaning to 'sticky keys', eh? :-)
Cheers, Mike.
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal

>Tell me, Mike...(I've always wondered)...as the Coke pours from the container onto the keyboard does the liquid column really form a clockwise vortex in the Southern Hemisphere?..:)..Maybe you could experiment and let us Northerners know:))..Cheers, Rog.

Yes it does, but only in the mornings. After midday it reverses. Except in Canberra, which isn't on this continent! All the atlases are in error..... :-)
Cheers, Mike.

We can't tempt you in to taking Canberra of our hands could we? We got the Britts paying for our "token" head of state 8-) We just need to drop the National debit a little more ;-)
