I see.

These all have zero correct, Mike. The group includes one you couldn't be bothered to use all the letters for. What happened? Were you sitting on the squares...? Or were you decorating your face with them again? No matter... I put them in in alphabetical order at the end, and you still scored zero. I liked its definition though :)

YOUR ZERO'S
1. ENRAGE NIAM
2. ANNIE GAMER
3. NEAR GEMINA
4. ANAGRIMeen

These have One correct. I won't be mentioning his mange either... Perhaps David could...?

YOUR ONE'S
5. ARNIE MANGE
6. E NAE GARMIN

These all have two correctly places letters. Only two words have them appear paired, and they are the same pair in both.

YOUR TWO'S
07. MEANER GAIN
08. RAIN MEGANE
09. A RAM ENGINE
10. MIRAGE ANNE
11. REGINA NAME
12. MEAN REGINA
13. A MEGA NINER
14. MENAGERINE
15. EIN MAN GEAR

These all have three correct.

YOUR THREE'S
16. NARNIA GEMe
17. ER GAIN NAME
18. GRAN MEANIE
19. MERE ANGINA
20. REGAIN MANE
21. GRIM ANANEE

18, 19 and 21 have a pair correct in each. The two latter should deja vous you back to something I said up there - assuming you were paying attention then :)

These have five correct, which is why I'm calling them

YOUR FIVES
22. MANAGE ERIN in a 2/3 arrangement
23. MARGANINEE and a 2/2/1 one, or is it a 1/2/2...? Suppose it could be a 2/1/2....

I am very disturbed to hear of the last product *glare at humans in general* butter made out of fairies can't be good for their numbers. How many does it take to make one pat? Loads I'm sure.

I like these :)

02. one who annoys a certain contributor at their own risk.
10. a decoy used in certain online message boards.
11. which is Annie around here ( all hail ).
12. Ditto

because they're all about me.

After the fairy revelation, I dread to ask what number 14 is made of, though
"a type of sandwich spread used in zoos" y-e-e-e-s...

*contemplate number 21*

Would this witch be trying to say her name, Mike?

My first thought was migraine, but it doesn't fit.

No it doesn't. It's innovatively spelled version: MIGRAAENNE would give you five correct though, all singles

That would appear to be surprisingly helpful. I should find a piece of paper and see if it is.

Number 08 should not be where

Number 08 should not be where it is. Yes, I know where it is is where I put it, but that was a mistake.

It has one more correct letter than I said it did. That was where I made my mistake.

edit: I forgot what I originally came in to say.

What I originally came in to say was that you've got the first letter right five times less often than you've got the last letter right.

I find that I didn't need you to say that. All the previous information boils down to magnanerie, the French spelling of magnanery.

I'll look for a new word in the morning (my time).

Oh. Well it's a bit late for me to take it back now...

You are correct :) although I didn't know it was the French spelling, specifically.

magnanerie - the art or place of rearing silkworms

Okay. It does mean Mike might need to make some more paper squares...

He can reuse some of them for this, but he will need some new ones too.

Because I'm feeling generous, I'll tell you it has 1 right. Whether there are any doubles will be held in reserve for possible future generosity.
